This RANCO FRIDGE THERMOSTAT, equipped with a 1m capillary and 13mm shaft, has 3 contacts and is compatible with ZANUSSI models 2262154038, 50116856001, 50228029000, and 50246193002. Its technical features include a 1000mm capillary for a cold range between +5° and -32°, and 3 contacts measuring 6.3 mm each for a warm range between +5° and -12.3°.

Good replacement

30 year old Zanussi fridge in the shed used as a spare at Christmas decided last year to either freeze everything or to thaw it. It was ready for its final journey to the recycling centre until the brother in law revived his much newer Bush fridge with a replacement thermostat. I copied and the result is a Zanussi fit for another 30 years, I hope. A bit of a fiddle to do but not too bad for an amateur.
