Adjust your commercial kitchen ventilation to suit the demands of service with this extractor canopy fan speed controller. Available in 6A and 10A versions, it provides manual speed adjustment for compatible ventilation fans in commercial kitchens, catering premises and industrial air-handling systems.
The rotary dial puts airflow adjustment within easy reach, helping you balance extraction requirements and fan noise throughout the working day. A compact metal housing makes the controller a practical choice for wall or panel mounting.
Important operating notice: To reduce motor heat build-up, these units should not be operated at less than 50% of the control range. This applies to both the 6A and 10A models.
Select the model to match the connected fan load. Fan size alone does not determine the required rating. Have your installer confirm motor compatibility and electrical requirements before installation.
Suitable for compatible canopy extract fans and ventilation equipment in restaurants, commercial kitchens, catering facilities and industrial air-handling installations. Confirm suitability for the specific fan motor before use.

To reduce motor heat build-up, do not operate either model at less than 50% of the control range. Adjust ventilation within this operating range and ensure extraction remains sufficient for the application.
Installation must be carried out by a qualified and competent electrician using the product's wiring diagram. Disconnect the mains supply before inspection, installation or repair. Confirm fan motor compatibility and ensure the connected load does not exceed the controller's current rating.
What is the minimum operating setting?
Both the 6A and 10A models should be operated at no less than 50% of the control range to reduce motor heat build-up.
Which model should I choose?
Choose according to the fan motor's electrical requirements and the connected load, not simply the physical size of the fan. The maximum current rating is 6 amps for the 6A model and 10 amps for the 10A model. Ask your installer to confirm the correct selection.
Can I connect more than one fan?
Have a qualified electrician confirm whether a multiple-fan installation is suitable. The combined connected load must remain within the selected controller's rating, and each motor must be compatible with the controller.
