Unitrol 7000BMVR Replacement LPG Gas Control Valve – Propane Flame Failure Safety Valve

Ensure your high-capacity heating system is running safely and efficiently with this 7000BMVR Unitrol Gas Control Valve, specifically calibrated for Liquid Propane (LPG). This valve serves as a crucial component for any system that relies on propane fuel, effectively managing gas flow to ensure reliable operation.

Designed for heavy-duty applications like large furnaces, boilers, and commercial heaters, this millivolt valve is factory-set to the standard 11" W.C. (Water Column) pressure required for Propane systems. It’s the ultimate "drop-in" solution for those needing a high-flow, self-powered gas control. The 7000BMVR is suitable for both residential and commercial settings, providing a high-capacity solution with peace of mind.

Key Features

• Factory-Set for Propane: Pre-configured for LPG with a high-pressure regulator set to 11" W.C. for optimal combustion.
• High-Capacity "Big Mag" Design: The BMVR series is built for higher BTU outputs, making it ideal for demanding residential and commercial equipment.
• Self-Powered Millivolt System: No external power required. This valve uses the millivoltage from a thermopile to operate, ensuring heat even during power outages.
• User-Friendly Control: Features the iconic large red "ON/OFF" dial for easy operation and clear status identification.
• Safety First: Equipped with a 100% safety shut-off system; gas flow stops instantly if the pilot flame is lost.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I use this valve with Natural Gas?

A: No. This model is specifically regulated for Propane (LPG) at 11" W.C. Using this on a Natural Gas system will cause dangerously high flames and soot buildup.

Q: Is the 11" W.C. pressure adjustable?

A: While there is a regulator adjustment screw under the cap, it is factory-set to 11" W.C. for Propane. Adjustments should only be made by a pro with a manometer to ensure safe manifold pressure.

Q: Does this replace the standard 7000BMVR used in Natural Gas furnaces?

A: Yes, provided you are converting the appliance to Propane or replacing an existing Propane valve. The physical footprint and wiring are identical to the NG version.

⚠️ WARNING: Gas conversions and replacements should only be performed by a licensed gas technician. Improper installation can result in fire, explosion, or carbon monoxide poisoning. Always perform a gas leak test after installation.
