The UCI Cartridge Heaters provide excellent heat transfer and guarantee longevity. Cartridge Heaters are designed for a push-fit into holes of nominal diameters. Our Cartridge Heaters are manufactured to the highest standards and from long lasting, reliable materials. Whilst primarily being used to heat Dies, Moulds and platens; Cartridge Heaters can be used to heat other applications which require a heating element. They can be designed to operate up to 800 degrees celsius.

This will help minimise air gaps and allow heat to dissipate. Effective heat dissipation greatly reduces the chance of overheating or your heater becoming defective prematurely.

Can Cartridge Heaters be used to heat liquids?
When heating liquids, Cartridge Heaters are not typically suitable as they do not offer a heat transfer that is quick enough, resulting in the heater overheating or liquid quickly evaporating and boiling.
