Drum/IBC Heaters provide a safe source of electrical surface heating in a controlled setting. This heating can be used to heat a 205 litre steel drum, plastic drum or standard 1000 litre IBCs. These are to either maintain or raise the temperature of the contents. Heaters are available in a variety of options. Some with full jackets, others with heated belts. Both of which offer different solutions, either rapid heating time or insulating to maintain a constant temperature.

What is an IBC heater?
IBC heaters are used to provide a heat source to containers which hold highly viscous fluids. These could be sugar, sugar substitutes, and sugar alcohols such as Maltitol.

How hot do drum heaters get?
Heaters for metal drums have an adjustable thermostat with a control range from 50° to 425°F (10° to 218°C). Heaters for plastic and fibre drums have a slightly lower temperature gage, of 50° to 160°F (10° to 71°C) thermostat.
