Our UVR/S Variable AC Regulator Dimmer Control is specifically designed for commercial kitchen environments, providing smooth and accurate control of catering heat lamps. By adjusting the voltage output, the unit allows you to fine-tune heat levels for consistent food holding temperatures and improved energy efficiency.

Available in 230VAC or 110VAC single-phase versions, the UVR/S supports a maximum load current of 17A, making it suitable for demanding catering and light industrial applications.

How It Works

The UVR/S operates on the same principle as a traditional light dimmer. It regulates power by phase-angle control, effectively “slicing” the AC waveform to reduce delivered power. This provides smooth heat adjustment without the harsh on/off cycling that can shorten lamp life or cause temperature fluctuations.
