If you want to warm up a flat area quickly and efficiently, these Mica Heating pads, 320 x 190mm, 300W, 230V are the perfect solution. It has a spiral resistance wire that is protected by a sturdy Zintec steel sheet, which allows it to operate at temperatures up to +260°C.

This product can fit into any space where a regular heating element is not suitable. You can also put it between metal surfaces on process equipment such as moulds and dies. The unit is safe and easy to install as it has an insulated terminal and earth leads. The wires are strengthened where they connect to the pad for extra durability and strain resistance. It provides physical strength and good thermal conductivity. Specially selected mica grade and thickness are used to insulate the windings, providing excellent thermal conductivity and dielectric strength. This type of heating element is chosen for the various design options available.

This mica heater is used on packaging, manufacturing and test equipment, such as platens and laboratory machines. For optimal heat transfer results, use it with a temperature controller and clamp the pad firmly to the surface.

Temperatures are ideally measured using leaf type thermocouples that fit under the surface of the heaters.
