It is used in ovens, furnaces, kilns, infrared heaters, quartz tube heaters, catering equipment, etc. Fitted with Nickel-plated brass connectors, they can withstand temperatures up to 1000°C.

Why use Ceramic Connector Blocks?
The ceramic connector blocks are used to protect the wiring cable connected to heating elements from melting. Normally plastic connectors will melt at temperatures above 80 deg C. In a wiring assembly that includes heating elements, the temperature could increase and need adequate protection. Ceramic connectors are designed for this and will not melt like other types of similar connectors.
