Mica sheet heaterMica heaters are used to heat flat surfaces where a steel casing would make them too thick or where the maximum heat transfer is required and a steel casing would prevent that.

They can be made with much higher watt densities than silicone heaters so will take up where silicone heaters stop ideally 150°C and higher.

They are same as mica plate heaters but without a steel outer casing, the costs are much lower because of this so are a great alternative.

They can be made in various shapes, sizes and with holes to suit tooling.

The heaters are best suited for fitting between 2 metal surfaces where one or both require heating, they should be adequately clamped for heat transfer and to prevent premature failure.
